Begin with the connection
Identify the job the component needs to do: support an earring, connect a pendant, finish a strand or form part of a setting. Then compare the relevant dimensions with the parts you intend to use alongside it.
- Material and finish: distinguish solid metal, gold filled and plated descriptions in the listing.
- Dimensions: check the feature being measured, including any stated internal size, post thickness or opening.
- Supply quantity: confirm whether the price covers one component, a pair or a pack.
- Compatibility: ask about a missing measurement before ordering when the fit depends on it.
