Education with JTR

Where should I start?

Visit Education & Knowledge and begin with Jewellery Foundations. Module 1: Observe and Describe develops a method for looking closely and recording useful details. Module 2: Read Product Specifications explains how to compare dimensions, materials, finishes and pack quantities. Module 3: Build a Project Brief brings these skills together in a plan with requirements, component records and a clear next step. Module 4: Communicate Jewellery Clearly develops precise descriptions, useful questions and a professional handover.

Is the education free, and do I need to buy anything?

The published introductory modules and practical guides are free to read. No purchase is required. The observation activities can be completed with a suitable object you already have and a notebook; individual modules explain what is needed.

Will I receive a qualification or have my progress saved?

The current modules are self-directed study with practical exercises, self-check questions and explanatory answers. They do not provide an accredited qualification, tutor assessment or saved progress. Keep your own notes and use the completion checklists to review your work.

Choosing supplies

How do I check the size, material and quantity?

Read the individual product description and selected variant before ordering. Check which feature each dimension describes, whether a measurement is approximate, and whether the price covers one item or a pack. Distinguish the underlying material from a plated surface finish. If a detail is unclear, contact us with the product link before ordering.

Can a photograph confirm colour or compatibility?

Use photographs alongside the written specification. Screen settings and lighting affect how colour appears, while an image alone may not establish scale or fit. Compare the relevant dimensions of the components you intend to use together, and ask about any missing measurement.

Where can I find tools, gemstones and components?

Explore Jewellery Tools, Gemstones and Jewellery Findings. The Supplies menu also includes beads and stringing, watch tools, clock parts, new arrivals and specialist categories.

Orders, delivery & returns

Where can I check delivery options and costs?

See Delivery & Shipping for published information. The available delivery methods and charges for your destination are shown during checkout. Review these before completing your order.

How do I ask about an order or a return?

Use the Contact Us form or email info@jewellerytraderesources.com with your order number and the item concerned. For returns information, read Returns & Refunds and the refund policy.

Which payment methods are available?

The checkout displays the payment options available for your order. Choose your preferred available method there.
